About Us

Billingswood Manor is your home, your family; friends and guests are welcome to visit at any time, day or night. There are welcome to enjoy and utilize the amenities and participate in activities at Billingswood Manor.

Who Are We?

Billingswood Manor is a privately owned and operated 64 room residence. The Manor opened its doors to its first residents 10 years ago, in May 2001 and has since become one of Billing's community best retirement living center. Our team is composed of 25-30 devoted, qualified and professional associates. We strongly believe in diversity, equity and communication and this is one of many reasons why Billingswood Manor has the success it has today.

Our People

All our staff are fully qualified and experienced healthcare professionals.

Managing Director (Administrator) - The Managing Director is responsible for the overall operation of the facility. The Administrator assumes responsibility and is accountable for the outcome of all programs and services conducted by the facility. Reporting to the President, the Managing Director accepts responsibility for the management and leadership strategies. The Administrators office is located beside the nursing office. Please feel free to drop by!

Front Office Manager - The Office Manager attends to the business affairs of all staff and residents of the facility, including all financial issues of the Manor.

Dietary Staff - The Dietary Staff assist in the preparation and service of nutritious meals in a safe and attractive manner, and ensures the residents feel welcome and at home in the dining room.

Activities Co-coordinator - The Activities Co-coordinator, in co-operation with staff and volunteers, supports and encourages the development of resident-centered activities within the facility and solicits community involvement with individual residents and the facility. The Activities Co-coordinator also assesses the needs of our residents and provides activities for residents who prefer individual, rather than group activities.

Director of Care - The Director of Care is responsible for ensuring a high standard of care and services to the residents by the nursing department. The Director of Care co-ordinates the responsibilities of the nurses and health care aides.

Nursing/Healthcare Staff - The Nursing/Healthcare Staff provides the residents with assistance in all activities of daily living, including medical supervision and emergencies.

Housekeeping Staff - The Housekeeping Staff provides the residents with an esthetic, clean and comfortable environment.

Maintenance Staff - The Maintenance Staff is responsible for the upkeep and restoration of the facility.
